A Place WHERE MINDFULNESS meets mission

01

The biggest challenge we see today is that it's hard to find us—the eco-conscious businesses, everyday changemakers, and resources that truly care about sustainability, community, and long-term impact. So, we're building a platform to fix that.

At the core of The Good Green Life is our vetted directory - a space where Omaha’s eco-friendly businesses, services, and organizations can easily connect with people who share their values.

Surrounding that, we’re building a hub of support: mastermind sessions for sustainable business owners, practical resources and education through blogs and newsletters, and playful community features to keep things grounded and fun.

It’s all about living intentionally, shopping with impact, and growing a greener Omaha - together.

where does the money go?

invest in the next generation

We deeply believe that the key to lasting environmental change starts with our kids. When students learn early that food waste doesn’t belong in a landfill—and that plastic isn’t a long-term solution—we’re not just teaching habits; we’re raising a generation of changemakers. One compost bin at a time, they’re learning to take care of the planet and each other.

Our vision is to bring environmental literacy into every school. But it doesn’t stop there. We’re working toward a future where eco-education is everywhere—from hands-on exhibits at children’s museums to interactive talks in church basements, classrooms, and community centers.

To make that possible, we’re building a foundation that can fund programs like school composting, zero-waste workshops, and educational outreach events. Once we know what it would cost to make composting accessible district-wide, we’ll rally the right partners—investors, grant-makers, and community supporters—to make it happen.

Because our kids are the future. And it’s time we invest like it.

The good green life isn’t perfect - and that’s by design.

This is a passion project that needs to exist right now. People are searching for this kind of resource—and this kind of connection. It’s being built with heart, and like anything rooted in intention, it takes time, energy, and community to grow.

Right now, we’re in the beta era. I’m planting seeds, building momentum, and listening closely to what this space truly needs to thrive. Please keep in mind: I’m a one-woman band with a big dream—and I’m doing all of this in my spare time.

By 2026, I hope to have a fully developed, beautifully running version of this directory—one that serves both people andthe planet even better.

Thank you for being here in the early days. Your support makes this possible. Stick around—this is just the beginning.
